Personal Information
 
Amara is a U4 undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at McGill.  During her undergrad, she previously worked on two research projects – one at McGill University with Prof. Maric’s lab, titled “Nitroxide Mediated Polymerization of Block Copolymers for Lithography,” and one at the Technische Universität Berlin with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Seliger’s lab, titled “A Model for the Development of Sustainable Innovations.”
 
Project Description
 
Amara is currently working under the supervision of Prof. C. Hoesli and postdoctoral fellow Andreas Wargenau on a project which involves the study of cell adhesion to different cell culture surfaces and the effect of surface properties on monocyte cell fate.
